The 2021 BAFTA Film Awards red carpet looked a little different this year, with our favorite celebrities’ fashion choices coming from the red carpet and at-home, virtual photo shoots. Hosted by Edith Bowman and Dermot O’Leary, the presenters and nominees throughout the evening had us buzzing to get dressed up again by giving glimpses of sartorial selections that ranged from shimmering dresses to smart suits.
Opening the red carpet was a lot of Louis Vuitton. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Phoebe Dynevor, and Cynthia Erivo all wore stunning designs by the brand’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière. We also noticed a few standout trends like metallic and sparkling, silver and gold dresses worn by Mbatha-Raw and Erivo; fringed details on Clara Amfo’s black suit, Sophie Cookson’s Girgio Armani shoulder pads; and on the hemline of Celeste’s vintage-inspired green dress.
