A scorching air balloon crash-landed at Chatfield State Park exterior Denver on Sunday morning, injuring a number of passengers, the Jefferson County Sheriff mentioned.
Three passengers have been taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening accidents, and three others are doing okay, the sheriff mentioned on Twitter. A robust gust of wind is believed to have triggered the crash.
Photographs of the scene, posted to Twitter by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Northeast Area, present first responders gathered in an open discipline. The crash occurred to the southwest of gravel ponds within the park, the company mentioned.
