Outdoor sports facilities will open again, meaning activities such as tennis and basketball are back on the cards. Open-air swimming pools, will also be allowed to reopen, so those of you missing your local lido are in luck.
Organised adult and children’s sport – including grassroots football – will be allowed to resume.
Childcare and supervised activities outdoors for all children will also be allowed again.
The advice adds: “People should continue to work from home where they can and minimise the number of journeys they make where possible, avoiding travel at the busiest times and routes.
“Travel abroad will continue to be prohibited, other than for a small number of permitted reasons. Holidays abroad will not be allowed.”
Those in England will have to wait until April 12 to get a haircut or use other close contact services.
Pubs, bars and restaurants also won’t reopen until April 12, and even then can reopen using outdoor areas only.
